The Whidbey Island Naval Air Station is a U.S. Navy base located in Island County, Washington. Ault Field is the station’s airfield and main facility, where most of the military operations take place. The airfield is equipped with two 8,000-foot long runways and supports EA-6B Prowler, P-3C Orion, EP-3 AIRIES II, C-9 Skytrain and MH-60s Knighthawk aircraft. Ault Field honors Commander William B.
